Recently, during an onsite coaching session, I was working with a teacher who wanted to design future-ready activities to boost student engagement and collaboration. The challenge? He was on a tight budget and had zero time to start from scratch. That’s when ChatGPT came to the rescue. I had him pull out his phone, snap a quick photo of the items in his classroom, and then type in the standards he needed to cover. Within seconds, AI generated a creative 8–10 minute hands-on collaborative activity using only the supplies already in his cabinet. The look of relief on his face said it all — instead of feeling overwhelmed, he felt inspired and ready to try something new with his students.
